Why I started Saga.
The Indian D2C market is growing faster than the marketing support available to it. Every week, new brands are launching in food, wellness, beauty, fashion, and home — built by founders who know their product deeply but don't have the time or expertise to build the marketing systems that will take them from ₹5L to ₹50L in monthly revenue.
The agencies that exist to serve these brands are either too expensive, too generic, or too dishonest. Big agencies want ₹1L+ retainers and assign your account to a junior who manages 20 clients. Freelancers disappear. Cheap packages deliver nothing. And everywhere you look, agencies are posting fake case studies, inflated ROAS numbers, and testimonials that tell you nothing about what it's actually like to work with them.
I built Saga to be the agency I wish had existed — honest before the contract, accountable after it, and built specifically for the brands that everyone else overlooks.
Saga is new. I'm not hiding that. What being new means for the brands who work with us is complete founder attention on every account, zero tolerance for vague reporting, and a genuine stake in your results — because your first result is my first case study. That accountability is something most established agencies stopped offering years ago.
D2C brands growing faster than good marketing support
Watching early-stage D2C founders in India struggle to find honest, affordable, focused marketing help — while being ignored by big agencies and burned by cheap freelancers.
Building the alternative
Left behind the safety net to build something real. Saga Creative Studios was founded in Chennai with one rule: no fake stats, no fake testimonials, no promises we can't keep.
Building the playbook for D2C growth in India
Deep research into what actually moves the needle for D2C brands at the ₹50K–₹10L/month revenue stage — and building a service system around those specific levers.
Looking for the right first clients
Building our reputation one brand at a time. If you're an early-stage D2C brand that values honesty and wants a partner who treats your business like their own — we should talk.
